Abstract

The article highlights education as a key element in the creation and renewal of democracy. The notion of the students’ voice is questioned in order to signify it from a deep reciprocity between teachers and students. It develops two frameworks of action "Patterns of collaboration" and "Schools for democracy” and finally reflects on actions to maintain the commitment to education in and for a participatory democracy.
